Portchester Pétanque Club
Est. 1988
Mission Statement
Portchester Pétanque Club has been set up as a group activity to create a meeting place to pursue both Social and Sporting objectives, whilst playing the game of pétanque. All ages are welcome, including those with mobility or health limitations.
The club takes part in many competitions and for those that are not quite so adventurous, we run our own local sessions to learn the game. The club has two league teams who play throughout Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey.
Created in 1988, the club has approximately 70 members.
Sessions for children are FREE to encourage an interest in the sport and are led by a qualified Petanque England coach and all helpers are DBS checked.
“Come and try sessions”
We want to encourage people to come and play the sport of pétanque, in a friendly and relaxed environment. If you or your organisation would like to “have a go”, please contact us via the contact button above.
